BODY HAIR TRANSPLANT

Procedure

The procedure of a Body Hair Transplant involves removing live hair follicles from the ‘donor areas’ of the patient’s head (behind the ears and nape of the neck)and embedding in the area to be treated. This procedure is completed using the Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) method of hair transplantation which helps in improving the development and growth of the hair.

Healing Time

The area treated usually heals within a week and one can get back to their day to day activities without any hinderance.

After the Procedure:

  • Head showers should be avoided for at least 15 days
  • Saline spray has to be applied every 2 hours to the treated area to keep the roots healthy

Results

The result of the transplantation can be seen soon after the completion of the procedure.
