IPL PHOTOFACIAL
Intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy also known as a photofacial, is a method by which the colour and texture of your skin can be improved. It is an effective procedure to reduce damage to the skin caused by sun. An IPL procedure may also help if you have brown spots or melasma.
Procedure
In contrast to other lasers, an IPL device sends out stronger pulses of light which is why this procedure is extremely effective in treating a range of skin conditions at the same time. After an IPL session, the skin looks younger and more even. And since the light doesn’t affect any other tissue, the recovery time is also faster. Depending upon your skin, the specialist will suggest the number of sessions that would be required. Usually subsequent sessions take place at intervals of 2-4 weeks.
